Heritage Sixteen

Hello people.
Semester break had passed for almost a month
I have got my part time job at a new launching cafe and guest house, Heritage Sixteen.
This post will be introducing a little bit about this cafe/guest house.

Heritage Sixteen is a cafe and guest house which offer food and beverage and also accommodation.
It is located in Lebuh Carnarvon or "Larm Ch'arn Na"
We have 15 rooms including standard rooms, deluxe rooms and also dorm.
At the moment, only standard rooms and deluxe rooms available.
Dorms will be available around August as it is still under construction.

The cafe serve from 9am-10pm
We serve local delicacy such as Penang Famous Char Koay Teow, Fried Rice and Char Maggie.
American Breakfast is also available every day.
Promotions going on every day.

Alright, obviously I have no interest about dragon boat so we ain't gonna talk about that.

自从上了大学
每年的端午节都在大学度过
还要在final的时候
真是的~

在过去的假期
陪阿嫲上山顶割粽叶
听到旧邻居问：没人帮你包肉粽吗？
阿嫲回答：没有。家里没人会包。
我脑海就突然闪过
以后阿嫲不在了，是不是就没机会吃到悉的味道了？

你们当中，有多少会包肉粽的，举手！

Shaboo

bought this steamboat buffet voucher from iLoveDiscount 
It's just a small restaurant on the lower ground floor in First Avenue
Nothing special, only that the Red Bean Drink is awesome!

We ordered Chicken soup and Tomyum for the base...

Look normal right...

My lips turn red after a few sip of the soup

 Recommended: The homemade sauce...

Comment: It's not worth to go when there's no discount. It cost us about RM15.90 per person, free flow Red Bean drink only. Normal price is about RM30++...

Superb Changlun Shopping

Feel like going to Changlun for dinner and a lil shopping for tomorrow's breakfast.

Went makan in "Good Takaho", somewhere beside Cmart. Ordered KungPao Pork & KaiLan...
Waited for around.. 30-45 mins and here comes our dinner

 These cost us about RM13.50


Off we go to Cmart... bought these stuffs for cooking

►Carrot


Wait for the weighing guy to weigh the crabstick and carrot...
SUPRISINGLY
we saw the crabstick plasticbag sticked "Timun Kecil" RM0.26
happy like hell.. went to the cashier and pray hard that she wont noticed the error...
wait... wait... wait...
and it safely goes in to plastic bag and off we go up to the bus...

How bad are we.

General Updates

 

●Study life

-le me is now struggling in semester two. Much different from the experience i had in semester one. Assignments and exams, all surrounding me. Group members is not proactive enough. Bagai pahat dengan penukul, pukul sekali gerak sekali.

-Things happen between you and me. thought we get along very well. however, without notice, im wrong. i thought i know u very well but reality i dont. well, i didnt know that my words could hurt you this much. anyway, i hope that this wont happen again. we should be honest so that we know each others need.

●Myself

-on diet mission : failed.
-keep telling myself that u need to be on diet from this moment. but i dont know why that i could not find back the 冲动 to on diet. maybe i need to have some 打击.. hahah...
-ahh.. what can i say.. 顺其自然ba.
-People say that we look alike.. are we?

●Special Occasion

-went to David Brown's restaurant to experience some kinda luxury hi-tea. Although the price is a bit killing me but acceptable when it occurs once in a blue moon...
-environment is cozy, satisfying and relaxing. Service... hmm.. all i can say is not bad. Earl Grey tea is love.

This is quite a last minute gathering that we actually came out like... yesterday?

a very random YET fun gathering.

like we used to be....

we went to Johnny's for dinner

i thought it was a western restaurant but they serve Thai Food.

1st time heard Thai Restaurant with such an English name.

My koay teow. Taste so-so only. Lots of Tauge. eeks

Ai Tee's Beef Rice. u can actually use 5 fingers to count pieces of beef.

Tomyum soup is available for set meal

Home-made Fish balls. Not bad. ( side order)

Dessert! Come with set meal.

Worth it if u take set meal..

it cost about Rm8.90 only.

Ohya.. got Thai Tea ( Pandan Tea) somemore.

After dinner, we lepak around

and then off to arcade and found this new game.

"Island Adventure"... i think.

should try. it comes with motion seat. :P

I got my 1st birthday present from these people + Tan Shou Wei.

After reading thru Penang Food brochure...
I was like... Craving for Indian Food so much
But then end up,
he suggest to go korean food...

As usual,
We will order marinated pork and mutton
because THEY REALLY TASTE GOOD!


as ive told u all in my old blog
in traditional korean cuisine
they will 1st serve 10-12 appetizers
including kimchi, salad, korean beansprouts . . .

Sauce

Something great about this restaurant is...

we no need to grill the food ourself...

No matter how busy are the waiters,

they will definitely give us the best service and best grill food.

without getting them Chao Da

make it "Large" so that u can see how juicy they are :P

 Bukit Genting Restaurant (Branch) [ 29072011]

went to this Thai restaurant and grab myself some authentic Thai dish.
Nothing really special but this capture my eyes.

Thai call this Mengkam or in chinese we call it 一口一包
where u can use the leaf,
add some nuts, lime, onions, cili padi, dried shrimp and lastly add itu paste
i see him enjoying it but still i cant accept the odour of the leaf.
not really bad but eating leaf.... argh.
my bad :(
