Redang Trip

Hello people!
Sorry for not updating my blog for the past few weeks.

I was on vacation to Redang Island with my course-mates from 2/7-4/7
So below I'll share with you all about the activities, fares and photos in Redang.

Day 1

We fly on Air Asia from KL-Terengganu at 11:45am
One of my friend went to the police station to make a IC lost report as she forgot to bring her IC for boarding verification
(Tips: Forget to bring your IC for domestic flight? Just make a report in the airport's police station and get a report from the police. That report will work for document verification purposes)
Reach Sultan Mahmud Shah Airport at around 1pm.
The interior design of the airport look so classic Malay style.

We then hop on a taxi and have our way to Shahbandar Jetty
Reach the jetty at 1:30pm, went to one of the booth to get the ferry ticket and verification on our package that we have bought earlier.

We have to wait until 3pm for the ferry. So we went to the nearest restaurant to grab lunch while waiting for the ferry to come. We also grab the locals favourite: Keropok Lekor

Clock ticks 3pm. Prepare to get on board the ferry.
Spend around 1 hour and 30 minutes on ferry, finally we reach Redang Island.

Check in hotel. Have our tea time and spend the whole evening in the room.
Have a short walk at night and back to hotel for poker time.

Day 2

Wake up at 7:30am to grab breakfast and then prepare ourself for the first snorkelling session.

First snorkelling session is by the seashore.
Less dangerous, less fear
beautiful marine view....

After an hour snorkelling, we went back hotel for lunch and a short rest.
Next destination, open sea snorkelling.
I need to apologize that my camera went wrong after the first snorkelling
so saddddddd....
so no photos for the second location.

Open sea snorkelling was fun yet scary.
but the coral reef really look beautiful and stunning.
Another 1 hour of snorkelling, went back to the hotel for tea time and rest.
exhausted, totally exhausted.
Hang out by the sea side, shower and and rest.
While waiting for the dinner and have our own entertainment.
During the night time, we went to Redang Reef Hotel, which is located at the other end of the island to look for the "blue sand".
15min-20min walk, we finally reach.
It's not easy to find for the blue sand but luckily we manage to search a few.
Got each of us a bottle of Hoegarden, back to the room and get drunk.

Day 3

Overslept as none of us set alarm to wake up for breakfast at 7:30am.
but fortunately we still manage to catch up the last few pieces of roti canai, eggs and bread.
Then we prepare ourself to check out at 11am.

So basically that the end of our trip.....
Expenditure:
Package (Including ferry, hotel stay, 2 breakfast, 2 dinner, 3 teatime, and snorkelling trips)-RM284
Snorkelling equipment-RM30
Taxi from/to-RM25 per way
